Your Yorkshire wedding celebrant

Officiating wedding ceremonies in Yorkshire

I’m a Yorkshire lass but I’m not limited to weddings in Yorkshire. I’ll happily travel and will go wherever I am needed!

I trained with the Academy of Modern Celebrancy and I’m immensely proud about what I do, which includes curating and officiating wedding ceremonies that are tailored fully to the desires and personalities of my lovely couples.

She is amazing and such a kind-hearted person who loves love and equally loves weddings.

“Michelle is the most incredible celebrant – do not hesitate to book her! She is so enthusiastic and loves what she does, which just injects love and passion into the entire process. Her heartfelt speech truly captured us as a couple, making the ceremony unique and unforgettable. Many guests said it was the best wedding they’d attended…In short…she is amazing and such a kind-hearted person who loves love and equally loves weddings.”

Who is Michelle Park?

When I’m not officiating Weddings I’m a devoted mother of three and a wife to my lovely husband.

In a previous life, I dreamed of being an actress. Instead I became a primary school teacher! A job I loved. Fast forward to now, and I can honestly say I also feel just as privileged to be officiating weddings for a living- it perfectly combines my love of drama and public speaking with my passion for celebrating love and all its complexities. For me, it’s a dream come true and I will bring that spirit through to your wedding ceremony.

Michelle Park Celebrant was established after I found out first-hand how magical a wedding ceremony can be, when it’s brought to life by a wedding celebrant who can perfectly capture the essence of a couple and their love-story.

When my mum finally married her long-term partner, a wedding celebrant officiated the wedding ceremony and I was blown away! I was astounded that such a ceremony could be so beautiful and unique. There was energy and vibrancy in this ceremony which was fully devoted to my mum and her partner. Cheesy perhaps, but it felt like my calling.

I’m now committed to bringing through that magic for every single one of the couples I work with, whilst always remaining respectful that everyone’s preferences and choices can be different.

Humanist Wedding Celebrant?

Firstly, I am not a Humanist Celebrant. In fact, I’m not affiliated with any religious body or organisation so I’m free to officiate ceremonies for couples of any religion or background. Whilst my ceremonies are non-religious, I welcome couples to include traditions or customs meaningful to them within their ceremony and I happily celebrate inter-faith unions.

I am fully inclusive!
