The Wedding Industry Awards-Yorkshire and North East

I’m a Regional Finalist-Yorkshire and North East

At the end of September, I pressed submit on my application to The Wedding Industry Awards which are highly prestigious awards for celebrants and other wedding suppliers across the UK. This felt a real ‘moment’ in my celebrant career! I’ve worked so hard over the past 12 months to provide the best service possible to all of my couples, not just across Yorkshire but as far as London- delivering beautiful and truly unique wedding ceremonies that have evoked memories to last a lifetime.

I entered two categories: Regional Awards for Yorkshire and the North East and the Newcomer Award.

The Wedding Industry award is a highly respected accolade, recognised across the UK for celebrating excellence and setting the standard within the wedding industry. Suppliers in the Industry including everything from Caterers, Florists and of course, celebrants, can enter. Entry to the award involves submitting a range of photographs to showcase your work, 3 videos and most importantly, votes from all the couples you’ve worked with over a 12 month period.

Voted by the Couples Who Trusted Me with Their Special Day

Over the last 12 months, I have worked with some amazing couples. I feel immensely honoured to have been entrusted with their love story; sharing that with their nearest and dearest has been the greatest privilege.

Each wedding has been completely different; each gloriously unique. From Manor Homes in London to wild outdoor ceremonies in the West Yorkshire woods; from small intimate ceremonies of 20 guests to ceremonies with over150!

The couples I’ve worked with have all be generous with their time; giving me fantastically, detailed answers in their couples questionnaires and really leaning into the planning process. We’ve incorporated many symbolic rituals such as ring warming, seed mixing, shot drinking and hand-tying. My couples have included their family members in their ceremonies bestowing them with the honour of delivering heart felt poems and readings, being ring bearers or even being a Welsh translator!

To become a finalist in the awards, couples have to vote for me. I am extremely grateful to every single one of my couples as they all took the time to vote for me. In January I get to see their feedback which I’m so excited about; I’m always looking for ways to grow and improve my craft.

Celebrant Weddings In Yorkshire and Beyond

I am so excited to have a busy year of weddings scheduled now for 2025 and 2026.

I am based just outside of Leeds, West Yorkshire but my weddings this year will take me across to North Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire, South Yorkshire and beyond.

I’m so thrilled that I get to call this my job and I can’t wait to get started curating many more bespoke wedding ceremonies which celebrate love!

Please do get in touch if you’d like to discuss my services further
